	US Green Building Council is dedicated to advancing green building practices across the country.  Specialty Tile Products has proudly been a member of USGBC since 2023. See more information on their website.
	A Certified B Corp is a for-profit company that has met high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability through a rigorous certification process in order to improve positive impact on employees, the local community, and the environment. 	GreenGuard & GreenGuard Gold are certifications that indicate a product meets standards for low chemical emissions and is acceptable for use in certain environments. GreenGuard products meet strict standards for low emissions, low VOCs, and help reduce the risk of indoor air pollutants and chemical exposures.
	Green Squared is the first sustainability standard developed for tiles and tile installation materials. Green Squared uses the transparency and consensus of the ANSI process combined with third party certifications to evaluate, validate, and communicate products which have a positive impact on the enviornment and society.
	HPDC refers to the Health Product Declaration Collaborative. They focus on transparency in building materials by providing a standardized format for reporting the health impacts of products.
	ISO 17889-1 is the first global standard to objectively measure the environmental, social and economic impact of ceramic tiles. It specifies sustainability requirements throughout the entire product lifecycle.
	EPD Italy is an Italian program that allows companies to publish Environmental Product Declarations that outline a product's environmental impact, including: energy and raw material consumption, waste generation, atmospheric emissions, and discharges into water bodies.
	Carbon Neutral products offset all CO2 emitted during their lifecycle by supporting renewable energy projects through the purchase of CER (Certified Emission Reductions) carbon credits.
